Alvin is an uncommon individual. I hired him for his videography and design skills, competencies that he immediately demonstrated (and which he has, in fact, improved in his short time here to date). But what we also got, as an unexpected bonus, was a mature approach to life and work, a willingness to learn, and a disarming air about him that endears him to colleagues and makes him an effective collaborator at work.
